Amplimesh® Warranty

SupaScreen™ is covered by a ten year warranty.

A warranty for SecuraMesh® security doors and window screens applies to the extruded metal, power coating and hardware. All warranty claims should be made to the Amplimesh® dealer that supplied and installed the product.

Where a fault in the Amplimesh® product occurs within ten years of installation and is shown to be caused by the manufacture or materials, the product will be repaired or replaced at no cost to the customer.

Warranty claims need to be made with the Amplimesh® dealer that supplied the product.

  • Claims under the warranty are only valid if:
  • The fault occurs within ten years of installation
  • All servicing of the product has been carried out by an authorised Amplimesh® dealer or their representative
  • No modifications have been made to the original product
  • The care and maintenance instructions have been followed (available on the warranty card provided by the Amplimesh® dealer)
  • The product has not been damaged by fire, accident or abuse

The decision to repair or replace the product is at the dealer's discretion and will be made after inspection by the dealer.

Items not covered under this warranty include locks, handles, cylinders, hinges and door closers. These are covered separately by manufacturers' warranties. Please ask your authorised Amplimesh® dealer for further information.

A warranty card is supplied with all Amplimesh® products on delivery.

LGA (WA) Hardware warranty

All hardware supplied and installed by LGA (WA) is covered for a 12 month period. The warranty will only be covered for defects of the installation or manufacture of the product, not general wear and tear.


Powder coat Warranty

Care and Maintenance
The finishes that are applied to Amplimesh SupaScreen products are of high quality and are extremely durable and weather resistant. Like all fixtures around the home some maintenance is required to preserve the original appearance of the product.

Anodised Aluminium
Surfaces should be kept clean by prompt removal of all dust, dirt, grime and any foreign matter using clean water and a small amount of mild detergent. Do not under any circumstances use any abrasive type cleaning agent (Ajax or similar) or cleaning material (such as steel wool) as it will damage the anodised surface. Thoroughly wash off any residue of detergent with clean water.

Powdercoated Aluminium
Deposited grime absorbs moisture and holds it against the powder coated surface, damaging the coating. Surfaces should be kept clean by prompt removal of all dust, dirt, grime and any foreign matter using a soft sponge with clean water and a small amount of mild detergent. Thoroughly wash off any residue of detergent with clean water to avoid deterioration of the coating which will occur as a result of soap deposition. Do not under any circumstances use any abrasive type cleaning agent (Ajax or similar). If small scratches occur, they can be buffed out using a good quality car polish. Care must be taken to ensure the coated surface is not removed.

Frequency
Frequency of cleaning is largely dependent on the location of the building. In most circumstances cleaning may be carried out every 3-4 months. Products installed close to more severe conditions such as marine or industrial environments should be cleaned every 2-4 weeks.
